I had a smile on my face 90% of the time when i played. 7% i was locked in for boss fights and 3% angry at roshambo rng
It was different. Sure, it may be a fun time in isolation but people probably wanted a return to form after Super Paper Mario, and especially Sticker Star. The series just went experimental in a time when nobody was interested, I guess.
