Pretendo users, what made you hesitate to use it at first, and why?

i got pretendo 4 months ago and was worried it was gonna make my wii u and 3ds blow up i worry about everything and its always some stupid stuff
The fact that the service is still under construction and the $10 donation(At least) every month for access to the beta server. But the official Nintendo server is closed already, I have to come to here and wait, no matter what
