Dlc is for those with a physical copy as the downloaded content is just the disc data stored not on the disc but on the nand. Digital copy dont need the DLC.

Correct, you dont need that DLC if you own it digitally. In Japan there was also proper DLC to purchase, but the international version incorporated all that into the base game for free.
