Did you know: The Wii was originally gonna be able to play DVDs? It was scrapped because let's be serious, who would wanna watch Fred: The Movie on a Wii?

Remember that the ps2 was super popular for being a cheaper dvd player (but still mostly a console) back then? Now imagine if the dvd feature was on the wii when it released.
