Hot take but as much as I love the Switch as I got it as a gift on launch and have countless memories with it. It just doesn't feel the same as it lacks the fun charm that the Wii U and 3DS have. Am I crazy for thinking that? I still play my Switch often but still...

I agree. I also feel like the pokemon games really lost their charm after the switch releases.
youre right. i gave up my wii u when i got a pc and when i got a switch a couple years later, the whole experience felt way less wonderous. i just got a new (to me) wii u the other day and after installing homebrew and pretendo its so awesome. its like it never died <3
The switch and switch 2 have a lot less personalization (at least unmodded) and I found that while they are portable the 3ds is way easier to have on the go because it's foldable and therefore much more compact, has a lot more travel friendly games imo and streetpass.
