Facts:The Wii U was released in 2012 and it was considered to be a commercial failure. Nintendo eventually stopped making consoles and even ended Miiverse in 2017; only 5 years in service... The Nintendo Network services shut down on eclipse day April 8 2024. ($13M in sales :( )
