Are there going to be Splatfests? Never got to play any in Splatoon 1

I've heard it's something they might do in the future, but there's no estimated time as to when that'd be. In the meantime, you can still use the Squid Sisters Amiibos to explore the Splatfest version of the Plaza anytime.
