Do you have an old or new 3DS?

I have new 3ds xl. What I used worked but it crashed on me a few times, had low framerate, no audio, and also I couldnt change window sizes on PC. I was using snickerstream

I think there's a fork of NTR-CFW that has better framerates but I don't know much about stuff like this so just searching ''ntr cfw fork'' on YouTube or Google should get you some results.

Use an aux cord to get audio from 3DS.

Thanks for letting me know! I also did some search and found Arctic Base app, allows for streaming to Citra. Probably only supports 3DS games though.
