is netpass actually worth it? I feel like it kills the original purpose of streetpass

it is imo its been so long since the 3ds came out not many people are walking around with their 3ds anymore
It doesn't kill the original purpose of StreetPass. Even where I live, people don't even bring their 3ds with them.
if I install netpass and then go outside and I actually find someone walking with their 3ds, will I see this person’s mii?
