I don't have Minecraft for the Wii U but I'm thinking about getting it. Can this edition update to the newest version (with the copper age stuff) or is it stuck on the version it was released on?

So Updates in Legacy MC are counted a bit different because 4J studios ported the game how they wanted but for Wii U the latest version is TU71, which is roughly 1.13 the aquatic update

yeah its left off on update 1.13 unfortunately
