So my Gamepad lags sometimes frequently, even when I have it very close to the console it lags. I just wanna know if this is normal because the Gamepad never lagged this much when I used it years ago when Miiverse was still around

It's definetly not normal...
There's any objects in front of the console that could be interfering with the connection?
Maybe due to it's age? This Gamepad did come with the original 32GB deluxe model WiiU
If it's really the GamePad, you'll need to replace your Bluetooth chip
@Luiz64 There isn't anything in front of it but I do have it placed on my bottom shelf and the consoles external HDD sits beside it
It only has a lag moment around every 10 Minutes, maybe more but it still bothers me since back in like 2015 it was fine
could be the external hdd interfering cause of the magnetism, i know wii us have hdd issues because of that sometimes
