First fun fact! this unused background exists in all versions of PPT1 named as "bg_0019.narc" its used in the Download play version & is animated only in 3DS. the file exists for other versions but is not animated. you can find this in the "ingame_bg" folder in all versions

you can actually easily mod it back in by re-naming all files related to 0019 to something like 0002 (which is the default Puzzle Arena VS mode background) and get it working on both the Steam (PC) and Wii U versions!
