I wouldn't recommend updating. If the update is recent, then no. The update could mess up your moded console. I'd check the homebrew discord channel to see what all is going on.

i think its a update for new super luigi U cause when im playing it it says some data failed to download when i press HOME also the game isnt allowing me to post and stuff like this happened to splatoon and i updated fine but im not sure about this one.

If its a game update its fine prob. if its a system update I wouldn't.
