I never noticed the trail you leave in the ink when swimming through it in the first game. I thought that was a new addition in 3, but they just made it more noticeable in that game.

it's also on splatoon 2. i love those little details in the franchise it's so cool :D
Being able to see enemies swimming and where they went is an integral part of the game.
