Frooms (friend rooms) are seemingly extremely unreliable. I was playing MK8 in a froom with my friends and I got a communication error every other race.

im pretty sure friend lobbys dont work and if you want a privite lobby i think you can just use miiverse cups? or even just switching the amount of cups you use before going into a online game
