Can someone plz tell me how to download the dlc for MHG. I know the game is now suported for online but does that mean we can get the dlc as well? please educate me

Currently there is no way to obtain the DLC/Events for generations through legitimate means. MH Oldschool will host the download server whenever it is figured out so join their discord or check the forums. https://mholdschool.com/viewtopic.php?t=1258
