its just the same game made to run on different hardware
The levels are different on 3DS, and the way you fight against bosses are way different. By the way, the 3DS version have some big wins compared to the Wii U's, like the gallery, where you can rewatch cutscenes. And the 3DS version had online multiplayer to play up to 4 players.
