i know weird question but i only see people using circle pad pro

I dont see why not. you will have to use the stylus to control camera, but thats how I play on my O3ds.

i can say personally that i have played and beat this game on a old 2ds. also circle pad pro is overrated, ive seen a hardware mod that makes it work 24/7 like a 2nd natural circle pad. wish i could find the blueprint.
