Yes! Pokemon X/Y is a great pokemon game! It's my favorite pokemon game aside from pokemon diamond. X/Y has a really good story and gameplay while not being as cluttered and hand holdy as the newer games. This is just my opinion though.

I thought it was pretty fun. A bit clunky, but the story was mellow and the region and pokemon were great. Probably my favorite 3DS pokemon.
