Is anyone else getting a communication error when trying to register a friend code? The connection test passes in the system settings, so presumably it's not my end.

checked again... says 'provisionally registered friend' ? no idea how it works, may try on my wiiu.
added you on my wiiu just fine, looking at your posts it appears you have a wiiu also, maybe try and accept on wiiu! my id is ScootOnLuke
upon looking into this further, if you were unable to add me, i elieve you just need to accept my reqeust now. both wiiu and 3ds :)
Ok, so it turns out my internet connection type is not compatible with the 3DS online communications because I don't have a unique public ip address and am behind a Class D NAT. I'll try and call my ISP and see if they can do something about it.
Just tried from my parents house as they have a proper internet connection and it still doesn't work. So no idea what's going on.
