i just got a wii u after not having one for the past 8 years!!!! can someone recommend some games? ^_^

Nintendo land, splatoon, any of the lego games, captain toad treasure tracker, super mario 3d world, mario kart 8, Wii party u, wii sports club, donkey kong tropical freeze, pikmin 3, super smash bros wii u, zombiU, I could go on
Depends on what you are after, there's a lot. The games I loved the most were the zelda games and xenoblade X. Also just the fact that there are so many vc games available makes it difficult to chose what to play first.
Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, Legend of Zelda WWHD, Twilight Princess HD, Star Fox Zero, and Splatoon are good choices!
