Most of the mystery mushroom costumes are unobtainable due to there being no event courses, you're not missing out on much.
You can buy a disc on eBay and use Cemu
if you didnt understand me this happened in 2016 i now own a wii u and a copy of mario maker both of which i purchased with my own money
