Mine was destroyed by my little brother i was at school and 2 days before i had just bought pokemon HG, i arrive at home from school, open up my ds AND THE TOP SCREEN COMES OFF THE DS i legit screamed in horror, no one told me who broked it until 6 years later, on fkin Xmas
The rubber on the Circle Pad on my old 3DS XL finally came off in 2021 as I was modding it. That thing lasted years of my Smash 3DS grind. Tbh though I like it better with the rubber off. The circle pad now feels like the nub of a Thinkpad and controls better.
