Why are the Mario sports games on 3ds/Wii U so mid??? They feel bone dry of content

Honestly, all Mario (or Mario & Sonic) Sports game is so underrated, but rarely is unfair, Mario (or Mario & Sonic) Sports Game rarely has a giant community, 70% of these sports games has a small community, like Pretendo.
