Open Tomodachi Life or the Mii Maker and then suspend the software. Go to miiverse, then go to the tomodachi life community and create a new post. You might see a photo button. click on it and then click the photo you want (top or bottom screen) and then post it.

you go to mii maker, qr code/image options, then save mii as qr code. then go to miiverse, and to the right of the expression faces, there is an image option.

if on wii u, press TV + right d-pad to screenshot.

idk much about 3ds modding, but there should be a screenshot tool in rosalina menu
