I wouldn't get a Thor yet you won't be able to be on pretendo, miiverse and many more.. Although you can always have both

i have to agree with the others. the 3ds menu with the different themes, music, badges, miiverse, pretendo and everything else is more of an advantage. it has a more nostalgic feel.
