I just found out earlier tonight that Netpass supports Swapnote after looking at the notifications on my 3DS. Three people shared pictures of their cats.

What about Swapdoodle?
Swapdoodle has no StreetPass support. Nintendo probably wanted people to use Swapnote for StreetPass and Swapdoodle for SpotPass.
