The Wii U has one of the most charming, inviting user interfaces I've ever used. With that said, the load times are so horrendously awful that I can't help wondering if THIS is the reason Switch and Switch 2 are so sterile and lifeless.

All consoles menus need music, whether you are in the shop, menu, or settings.
Nintendo just gave up on UI. Even TotK's UI is trash and they don't care. It feels weird to say, but as of right now I'm moving on from modern Nintendo and playing on a PS5 now. I'll still watch this direct for old times sake, but I lost most interest in modern nintendo.
