Yeah, I'd definatly give it some love

Use ONE SHORT burst of sanitizer/cleaning solution spray onto a towel. Aim at a distance to spread evenly as a mist onto the towel. Let the cloth absorb it and dry for a little. Then use it carefully over the controls and outer shell w/out letting any into the ports.

Don't over do it. Just have clean hands always before using the console.

Most likely what you see on used consoles and controllers will be some very awful gunk. Get rid of that with care. So it doesn't end up deep inside the console. Most of the time it's a build up of skin cells and dust particles from over use or long term neglect to clean.

So check edges, rims, and controls including the edges of the touch pad.

On Rare occasion you get a controller or something from someone who like to binge on snacks, gradually keep cleaning with a clean soft brush. Let any inside deep cleaning be done by a pro to save yourself the headache of putting it back together.

NEVER LET LIQUIDS GET ON CONSOLE… Avoid this by using a coaster if you have to drink, OR use a closed water bottle or something. I've known some very sweaty SSB4/SSBU players. Keep hand warmers around and a towel to dry off with if you have sweaty or wet palms.
