Finally got around to fully modding my Wii U by modding my vWii. Its nice to have the News and Weather Channel up again. Should I retire the Wii now?

I modded my Wii too but how did you get the News and the Weather Channel back to work?
connecting to wii link i guess via dns or wad installation
Connecting through Wii Link and following the guides on wii.hacks.guide and www.wiilink24.com
The connection had to be wired for my vWii to connect online. So youll need to get a usb to ethernet adapter
