what error code is it?
it shouldnt, double check that ur pretendo accnt is verified
it gives error code 118-0502 and says "unable to connect to partner's device as partner did not respond please try again later"
im pretty sure my pretendo account is verified
same error code here, Mario Maker Online works but not Splatoon :/
