Mother 3 is far better and more beginner friendly imo. Trust me on this one and give that one a try first.
but story-wise which one should i start with
Mother 3 has such an engaging, meaningful, beautiful, emotional story. I've been playing Earthbound, and its mostly been: "Youre destined to save humans... cuz why not! I said so!" With other kiddos joining you like nothing.
earthbound is alot more down to earth than mother 3. i would reccomend playing earthbound first because afterwards you will be playing mother 3 and be like "YO KNOW THAT GUY!"
