I got a 1TB nvme for my wii u but apparently you need a y cable to power external drives so instead I opened up the wii u, and bypassed the limiter ic with a wire so that each port gives enough power. and it worked great but for some reason the fan header started outputing only

0.3V instead of the 5 and wouldn't power the fan so I had to reopen the wii u, strip the fan, solder the 5V wire to the USB 5V, and tape ground to the USB shell, and everything finally works now, it's 5 am i'm so tired..
