I wish botw on Wii U retained the Wii U specific features like having the map on the gamepad.

yeah its a shame. aparrently they removed the gamepad map because it meant you were less focused on the top screen which "ruined the immersion" but i disagree.
I hope someone create a mod for that in the future...
