Its possible to start any game without having to update it by editing/corrupting the version.bin in the system files. :D The original version of Minecraft for Wii U runs at 60fps.

I've managed to do that by backing the game up with dumpling and running it in loadiine without updates. I think it only works in legacy cfw though. Your way seems to save sd card space and works in aroma. Good job on that :)
I backed up my data with savemii and uninstalled dlc and updates but it still requires updates.
