Hey,so since miiverse is back and it rocks, i would like to ask for homebrew app suggestions both for the 3DS and Wii-U respectively, what should i give a try to? (New to Homebrew too, hence the question)

On 3DS right now I heavily recommend Netpass! it's pretty new, it allows you to get streetpasses through the internet! it's a blast! In netpass you choose a location to get passes in. I'm usually in Train Station- if you get Netpass, maybe we'll even pass eachother!
For the 3ds: get the hShop at: https://hshop.erista.me Download the CIA file and put it in the root of your 3DS's SD card, and then put the SD card back into the console. Then, turn on your 3DS and open FBI. Select the SD card, then select the hShop CIA file.
Part 2 to my other post (I ran out of space): Select "Install and Delete CIA". Then, exit FBI. Don't press select on the main menu, though. Press HOME and then X. (Press A if it prompts you.) You're done!

Definitely get TWiLightMenu++. It'll let you play DS games on your system. I'd also reccomend DS rom forwarder so the games are right on the home screen, and you don't have to go into the menu everytime
