I remember a lot of people complain about this menu on the Internet, but for me, it didn't suck, for me this is a true piece of art. I like it more than the Ultimate one. Sometimes I think they just want to hate the Wii U for hobby. Not because Wii U stuff really sucked.
THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS MENU TOO?! For me this is the best menu in the entire series, and really, it looks like these people like to hate everything from the Wii U solely beacuse it's for the Wii U. After all, hating the Wii U give them gamer credit.
In my opinion, the Wii U didn't deserve to be a failure; in fact, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U menu either. I just don't understand what's going through other players' heads to hate it.
Wii U is my favorite console of all time, that's why I came back after the Switch era. I came back because I just don't think, but I KNOW Wii U is awesome. Don't let those selling numbers fool you... Wii U was a MUST GET console, and it didn't deserve the hate at ALL.

BTW, Wii U is NOT a failure. That is a console that made me wish to return, and I'm glad I'm not the only one. A Community with people like us, that truly loves the Wii U and it's content. That, my dear friends, makes the Wii U... A WINNER! An absolute WINNER!

By the way, Wii U is not Nintendo's biggest flop or failure. That's Virtual Boy, that only sold 770,000 units only, not even a million. I don't know what's wrong with people nowadays, that thinks that Nintendo's biggest flop was the Wii U. That actually was the Virtual Boy.
Because it's unoriginal.. It looks too much like the brawl menu and sometimes confusing to navigate
I mean, the background in the menu WAS original, and for me, the menu navigation wasn't that confusing. Ever since I started to play this game, everything in the menu was pretty clear. But maybe that's just me. Still this is the best menu in the series for me. ;)
