I'm genuinely surprised they pulled the trigger on a sequel, considering that for the longest time, Miis were left for dead. Good stuff.

I also feel as it wasn't popular enough for a sequel; even though it is the 11th best selling 3DS game, and is already a sequel in Japan, I never really hear anyone talk about it.

I second that. It really seemed like Nintendo was done with Miis for a moment there
