I'm thinking of modding my vWii but I'm not sure if I should. I already have a modded Wii. But if I do mod the vWii then that means I will be able to play ACCF online on my main save file late at night, and I will actually be able to use headphones because of the GamePad.

That seems likena good enough regson to me! The vWii is a but more convenient as you can just use the GamePad if you want to.
You should mod vWii. I think there's a tutorial for it but I probably can't share it here because Juxt's code of conduct exists.

I'm a little scared of bricking the vWii though especially because it has my important saves, but I'll copy as many saves as I can to the SD card! ...Wait, doesn't the homebrew I used to copy my Nintendo Network saves to my Pretendo account support Wii games as well?
You can add Wii games as apps to the Home Menu on the Wii U too, although I don't know how to go about doing that. I know a friend of mine did it, but I'm not sure what guide he used.
