Is there a comp scene for smash 3ds? Seems like a cool game to get into but I doubt people still run locals for it

Not that many people play smash 3DS competitively, you're more likely to find a local for the Wii U version.
But don't worry because both versions play identically.
but the 3ds verxion is much less manageable
