Maybe just to see if the fixed issue actually is fixed and not a fluke? That's what I'm assuming at least since I don't know much about programming

They are making sure everything is properly stable. There's nothing saying you will have to wait a whole week, there's no ETA, and even if it's a week we already waited longer than that, so it's no big deal for me.
