I hope more Homebrew ports start being created for the Wii U in the future. There's hardly anything going on right now.

Even in the recent years, the Wii has received more ports than the Wii U. Atleast, those ports are compatible as such.
Honestly, that's not surprising. 3DS is more active than Wii U, in my mind, at least.
