i really think they shouldnt have called it the switch 2, like they shouldve called it anything else, like.. idk the new nintendo switch, like the 3ds, it sucks but its more interesting than 2 lol

I think Nintendo wants to make it exponentially clear to consumers that this is a brand new, next generation console rather than just a mere upgrade to the current Switch.
Yeah, since the fail of the Wii U (because people were confused if this was a brand new console or just a refresh) Nintendo really wanted to make that clear.
