Wii U community, I need your assistance I am looking for a Wii U on Ebay and some of the cheapest ones are Japanese Will this affect my setup/homebrewing process? I heard it makes it more difficult for 3DS too

As someone who has a japanese wii u, no, it doesnt affect the homebrewing process. It only makes things harder to understand if you dont know japanese. I dont know Japanese, but once you homebrew it, there is a way to alter the language.
The one I got was at a local game store for 150 dollars, I essentially only paid for the gamepad. I would look at local options in your area if they are available, you never know when you will find a good deal!
