My kid icarus cart has been claimed by time. :[ "there is no cartidge inserted". So sad. It being a great game aside it was also a gift from my late grandpa years back. darn

Possibly the contacts have dust on em. you cwn clean the cart contacts with isopropyl alcohol on a very thin q tip, then wait 5-10 minutes for it to evaporate. you could also blow into the cart port and the cart. Good luck!
If it worked, use checkpoint and gm9 to make sure your game is safe
