Sorry to hear that. Can't relate cuz I'm both handed.
If you got an old 3DS/3DS XL, you can get a Circle Pad Pro which acts like the left Circle Pad in this game. This setup allows a more comfortable play for lefties! :)
i just use my right thumb and its so comfortable for a lefty like me
