My first bowling game on this obscure entry of the Wii Sports series. While technically correct, the controls definitely feel weird and are drastically different from Wii Sports.

Yes, there's a certain amount of getting used to, especially with bowling, where the ball tends to go sideways if you don't tilt your arm in the desired direction.
