my 3dsxl works fine when exiting games, but when exiting apps like web browser, Miiverse, Friend List,.. the screen just shows "Home Menu" and freezes. is anyone else having the same problem? i need a solution :'‹

yeah it's finicky for some reason, i find that trying to go back to home while the console is actively loading something, it tends to hang. Turning the wireless switch off and forcing it to throw an error before you hit home tends to work. i have an o3dsxl btw
i have the same issue on the 2ds tablet, just leave it and it wil close out back to the home screen eventually. clearly some bug or memory leak in the firmware loaded...

@a1200: i waited 4mins but still couldn't get back to menu, so i gave up and pressed power button to turn it off
