I'd try cleaning it, including the inside if you can. Then use other cleaning materials that could get rid of the smell or possible residue left on the system. Glad to hear you enjoy Splatoon!

I cleaned the outside thoroughly. Cleaning the inside is a little daunting but ill be sure to get around to it at some point, thanks for the advice!
