As someone who owns a new 3dsxl, I think they're great but I've never heard of them running switch games.
you can't run switch games on a new 3ds, closest you'll get is ps1
The New Nintendo 3DS has 15 games that aren't on the regular 3DS. It can also play Super Nintendo virtual console games that weren't available on regular 3DS. No Switch games though, it can't come close to that.
